About Lyria 3.5
What it does
Lyria 3.5 is Google's newest music model. In Music Generator it turns a written description into an original 44.1 kHz stereo MP3: a full song with vocals and lyrics, or an instrumental bed. It follows genre, instruments, tempo, key, mood, and song structure, and it writes lyrics in the language of your prompt.
When to use it
- Songs with verses, choruses, and a bridge, where structure matters more than an exact length.
- Cinematic underscores, ambient textures, and lo-fi beds under narration.
- Lyrics in another language: write the prompt in the language you want sung.
- Your own lyrics: put them under a Lyrics: header and tag each section, such as [Verse] or [Chorus].
What to know before you run it
Lyria 3.5 writes complete songs, so the length you request guides the arrangement but is not exact. A short request can return a track of a minute or more, and requests can ask for up to 3 minutes. Each song has one flat price, whatever its length. Prompts that name specific artists or ask for copyrighted lyrics are blocked, and every track carries an inaudible SynthID watermark. Image input, WAV output, and follow-up edits are not available here.
