Why it works and what to change

Why it works

A narrow opening makes a promise: something is already inside, but you cannot see it yet. The reveal pays off that promise by keeping the outer object ordinary while making its interior impossible. The blue glow earns attention before the lid moves; the miniature scene gives you a reason to stay.

Build the discovery first, then close that same container over it with an image edit. The opening must hide an existing world, not ask the video model to invent one while the box moves. A hinged lid keeps the world stationary while uncovering it. Keep every landmark below the rim so the lid can close without a collision. Compare both images before animating: the box, contents, desk and camera must stay fixed, and the lid must retain its dimensions and hinge position. The final two-second hold gives the discovery time to register.

Notes

GPT Image 2 builds the open-world image. Gemini 3.1 Flash Image (Nano Banana 2) edits it into the partly closed opening. MiniMax H3 animates from the edited opening to the original open-world image at 768p with audio disabled. These controls suit a silent reveal with a defined destination; two pinned frames do not guarantee correct occlusion or motion between them. Reject a render where the world grows or dissolves into place instead of being uncovered.

The output is deliberately silent and text-free. Its question and answer must work visually; add a suitable soundtrack when preparing your post if you want sound.

The ending stays open. This is a reveal with a held payoff, not a promised seamless loop. If the miniature scene is too small to recognize, simplify world to one landmark and increase its prominence before adding more detail.
