What it does

Seedance 2.0 Pro generates video on Pipe2. It takes a text prompt, a still image, or an existing clip as input (text-to-video, image-to-video, and video-to-video), and it accepts image, video, and audio references together in one run. Output is video, up to 11 seconds long. Through the Video Generator pipeline you can render it at 480p, 720p, 1080p, or 4k, and in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, or 21:9.

When to use it

• You are running Video Generator and want cinematic shots, product reveals, or lifestyle ads with synchronized audio and natural motion.
• You have a reference image and want it animated rather than described. Image-to-video is a listed capability.

What to know before you run it

This is the production tier, and cost tracks the settings you choose. Pipe2's wholesale units for this model are measured in Volcengine Seedance output tokens, with a 5-second 720p clip counted at roughly 110k tokens. The 1080p unit carries a resolution factor of about 2.25 against 720p, so 1080p costs more than 720p at the same length, and longer clips cost more than shorter ones. The largest unit is 11 seconds at 1080p. No reference image is required; text-to-video works on a prompt alone. The Video Generator duration picker offers lengths past this model's 11-second ceiling, so pick a duration within it if you specifically want this model.
