Useful Nano Banana Pro prompts specify the subject, layout, style, light, and any exact words the image should contain. Open Pipe2 Image Generator, select Nano Banana Pro, paste a brief, choose the aspect ratio, and run. Start with text alone; add references when a particular appearance matters.
Describe a layout someone could draw
Write one coherent brief in this order: subject → positions → style → lighting → text → constraints. Name each element and its location instead of listing quality adjectives. “One blue pitcher centered on a stone pedestal, with empty space above” makes clearer decisions than “stunning premium product poster.”
Give the main subject priority. Keep supporting objects few and explain their relationship: beside, behind, or above the subject. If you need lettering, separate the exact words from the scene description and specify which line should be largest. These are suggested starting prompts, not tested outputs or guarantees.
Three prompts to adapt
Product scene — choose 16:9:
One cobalt-blue ceramic pitcher on a cream stone pedestal. Eye-level product photograph; pitcher centered in the lower two-thirds, clear empty space above. Soft window light from the left, gentle contact shadow, warm plaster background. No text, logo, or other objects.
Use this to test material, lighting, and framing without adding typography. If the pitcher is too small, change only the requested subject size.
Poster with a headline — choose 3:4:
An editorial poster for a fictional ceramics exhibition. One blue pitcher in the lower half on a cream background. Put the exact headline “SHAPED BY HAND” at the top in large dark-blue sans-serif lettering. Place the smaller line “A ceramics study” directly below it. Soft side light, restrained composition. Render each supplied phrase once, no additional text, logos, or watermark.
Short copy and a clear hierarchy make the result easier to inspect. Check both lines letter by letter and at the intended display size. If text must be exact, retain the image and add final typography in an editor when generation is unreliable.
Illustrated explanation — choose 1:1:
A square cutaway illustration of a small greenhouse. One tomato plant on the left, a rainwater barrel on the right, and a pipe connecting the barrel to the soil. Clean textured gouache, cream and muted green palette, pale background. Show the plant, barrel, and connection fully inside the frame. No labels or lettering.
Describe the relationships, not just the objects. Inspect whether the pipe actually connects to the intended destination; a plausible illustration is not proof of technical accuracy.
Keep the first test controlled in Pipe2
- Explicitly select Nano Banana Pro. Auto may choose another model.
- Paste one prompt and turn Enhance prompt off to test your wording unchanged. Enhancement is on by default and can expand a text-only brief.
- Choose 1:1, 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, or 3:4 for the destination.
- Choose quality and check the credit estimate before running. For this model, Fast requests 1K; Auto and HD request 2K at the same model price. This pipeline does not expose 4K.
- Review the returned image before use. Budget each revised attempt as another run.
Writing “4K” or “HD” in the prompt does not replace the quality control. Higher resolution also cannot fix missing objects or an unclear hierarchy.
Give each reference a job
Nano Banana Pro accepts up to 14 reference images in this pipeline and no video references. Start with only the references needed. Describe their roles explicitly: “Use image 1 for the pitcher shape and image 2 for the palette; place the pitcher in the layout described above.”
A reference guides appearance; it does not guarantee exact product geometry, identity, or label text. Compare the output with the source. If you already have the correct image and need a targeted change, follow the AI image editor guide instead.
Revise the failed instruction
Keep model, ratio, quality, and references fixed while changing one instruction. For a crowded image, remove secondary objects. For a bad crop, name the parts that must remain visible. For competing text, shorten the copy or clarify which line dominates.
Inspect composition at card size, then check lettering, edges, reflections, and anatomy close up. Save the brief alongside the result so the next revision has a clear starting point. The AI image generator guide explains broader setup and when to choose generation or editing.
Frequently asked questions
Do Nano Banana Pro prompts need reference images?
No. A text prompt is enough in Pipe2 Image Generator. You can optionally add up to 14 reference images and describe the role of each; this model does not accept video references.
Can I request 4K by writing it in the prompt?
No. Pipe2 exposes 1K with Fast and 2K with Auto or HD for Nano Banana Pro, at the same model price. Prompt wording does not enable 4K output.
How should I ask for text inside an image?
Quote the exact words, specify their position and visual hierarchy, and ask for no additional lettering. Check spelling and readability in the generated image; correct text is not guaranteed.
