Delete Your Account
Last updated: July 27, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Pipe2.ai account, what happens after you ask, which data we delete, and which data we keep.
It applies to Pipe2.ai everywhere you use it — the website at pipe2.ai and the Pipe2.ai Android app. You do not need the app installed to request deletion.
1. How to request deletion
Option A — from your account (fastest)
You can do this in the Pipe2.ai Android app or in any web browser at pipe2.ai. Both use the same account.
- Sign in to your Pipe2.ai account.
- Open Account (in the app: your profile; on the web: pipe2.ai/account).
- Scroll to the Danger zone section at the bottom.
- Tap or click Delete account, then confirm.
- We email a confirmation link to your account email address. The link is valid for 1 hour.
- Open that link. Your deletion is now scheduled and we email you the date it takes effect.
Nothing is deleted until you open the link in step 6. If the link expires, simply start again from step 1.
Option B — by email, if you cannot sign in
If you have lost access to your account, no longer have the app installed, or cannot complete the steps above, email privacy@pipe2.ai from the email address registered to the account, with the subject line “Delete my account”. You can also use the form at pipe2.ai/contact.
To protect your account against deletion by someone else, we verify ownership before acting — normally by emailing the registered address. We respond within 30 days of receiving your request.
2. What happens after you confirm
- Your deletion is scheduled immediately and takes effect after a 30-day grace period. This window exists so an accidental or unauthorised request can be undone.
- You can cancel at any time during those 30 days: sign in, open Account, scroll to the Danger zone, and choose Cancel deletion. After the 30 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
- Any active paid subscription is cancelled when you confirm, so you are not billed again. This cancellation is not undone if you later cancel the deletion — you would need to subscribe again. If we cannot cancel your subscription automatically, we tell you at that point and ask you to cancel it from the Billing page before continuing.
- Any remaining credit balance is forfeited when your account is deleted and is not refundable. Spend or request a refund for your credits before you confirm — see our Refund Policy.
- We email you a confirmation once the deletion has completed.
3. What we delete
When the 30-day grace period ends, we permanently delete:
- Your account and profile — name, email address, avatar, password credentials, and any linked social sign-in (for example Google).
- Your sign-in and device records — sessions, sign-in history, and the IP addresses recorded on your account.
- Your content — files you uploaded (“Input Content”) and the images, video, audio, and text generated for you (“Output Content”), including thumbnails and preview frames, in both our database and our object storage.
- Your Pipeline history — Pipeline runs, their inputs and results, and any public share links you created.
- Your credentials and keys — any third-party AI provider API keys you stored (these are held encrypted) and any personal access tokens you issued.
- Your subscription record, notifications, and referral data — including your affiliate account, referral codes, and referral/commission records.
4. What we keep, and for how long
A small amount of data survives account deletion because we are legally required to keep it, or because it is needed to keep the Service secure and our accounts correct. None of it is used to build a profile of you, and we do not use it to contact you.
| What we keep | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Payment and transaction records — amount, plan, date, our payment provider’s reference ID, and your internal account ID | Accounting, tax, and payment-dispute obligations. We never store your card number or bank details, and these records hold no name, email, or address. | As long as applicable tax and accounting law requires |
| Credit ledger entries — records of credits purchased and consumed, keyed to an internal identifier rather than your name or email | Our credit ledger is append-only, so balances and past transactions stay auditable | Retained |
| Records of administrative actions taken on the account — for example a credit adjustment or a support action | Accountability for what our staff did, and preventing fraud and abuse | Retained, with the link to your account removed |
| Usage analytics — product events and session records identified by internal identifiers, never by your name or email | Understanding how the Service is used in aggregate | Up to 24 months from the event, then deleted automatically |
| Operational logs | Debugging and security investigation | Up to 30 days |
Legal hold exception. If we are legally required to preserve your data — for example because of an active law-enforcement request, investigation, or legal claim — deletion is suspended for the affected data until that obligation ends. We only do this where the law requires it.
Third parties. Content you sent to an AI provider for processing is also governed by that provider’s own retention policy, and our payment provider keeps its own transaction records. Section 3 of our Privacy Policy lists these providers.
5. Other options
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data:
- Delete individual files — remove any uploaded or generated asset from your library at any time, from the app or the web dashboard.
- Cancel your subscription only — stop billing while keeping your account and content, from the Billing page.
- Request a copy of your data or a correction — see Your Rights in the Privacy Policy.
